Both the festival and the film industry could not have asked for a better opening. Lars von Trier still enjoys much attention abroad, and the exclusive world premiere helped attract those journalists and buyers who are vital contributors to the festival’s international atmosphere. |

Naturally, the general public was not going to be denied the opportunity to attend the world premiere of Lars von Trier’s The Boss of it All. For this reason, parallel world premieres were held in both the Palads and CinemaxX cinemas. Zentropa’s director Peter Aalbæk Jensen introduced the film to the 700 spectators who turned up at CinemaxX.
